Unraveling my thoughts. Unfolding. Dissembling.
And every single stitch, every single thread,
Seems to have you within it, within the seams of my bed.
Your eyes, your hair are stitched within every single thought.
Some are as delicate and as soft as silk, some that of carpet.
However, you still remain. You are still in it.
However, it all isn't the same, and I can't forget
That feeling of warmth consuming my heart,
Pulling me into a sweet dark and pulling me apart,
Unraveling my soul. Unfolding. Dissembling.
Sudden noises and unknown forces
Are nothing when I'm with you,

a victim of Libya.i'm sawed just below my chest,
which is riddled with bullets.
my arms, neck, and head
are all that are left.
my spine is removed from my skin,
it lies in a nice shade of crimson,
along with my feet without reason.
i used to walk with those.
i walked to my doorstep everyday
thinking about how i wished it was okay.
what's left of my mangled left hand
was what helped me fully understand
exactly what love is, to fully comprehend, -
to hold you in them until to the end,
to shake hands with a stranger;
to pray with both there would be no more danger.
to pray my wife had her deserved rights,
could properly sleep at night

concrete.you make concrete comfortable,
the cruel world a bit bearable,
and give me a reason to smile.

no, nothing is comparable
to how surely terrible
life would be with so many miles.

I thank everything and anything
that could possibly be up for blaming
for placing you with thunder in my life
at a time of treacherous pain and strife.

I can't quite tell you how many times
I've wrapped up how I feel with rhymes
all intended for your fine brown eyes.

nor can I say without lying,
or without elaborating,
how many moments you've crossed my mind.

when you tell me to trust you, I wince, - cringe,
at the fact that I am taking a risk,

A dark room like any other.
Both out eyes are no longer closed,
Yet, I can't seem to see the hope:
The light, my lover.

all my poetic nonsense:
i love you. that's it.

all in an instant.the light flickers
and my vision does too,
where is my heart
when not with you?
i once said
with pencil and pen,

"behind the wall
we tend to fall
beneath our broken dreams,
and within our hearts
we fall apart
at our stitched up seams."

and now it seems
that in my dreams
you're all that i can see,
whether it be
a simple thing
or something puzzling.

a bit complex
or out of context,
i just wonder what's next.

but i'm proud to say:

i'm not behind a wall anymore,
i've left that behind,
i've opened that door.
i'm no longer falling apart
at my stitched up seams,

Great angle on this one. Crisp focus, excellent exposure, I really like it. The blue of the sky really makes this flower stand out, the color is just so vibrant. Well done!
